IntroI'm here to tell you about chatspeak. What is chatspeak you ask? It's like a new kind of internet language. Here's an example of chatspeak: omg. lyke thats srsly uber awesome!<3 :) PM Me Nao. xD btw, ur such a nub. LOL! D: Well, if you don't understand any of that, then you really need to read this. Shortened TextFirst of all I'll explain some of the shortened text. The shortened text is the bolded parts here: omg. lyke thats srsly uber awesome!<3 :) PM Me Nao. xD btw, ur such a nub. LOL! D: Most of those words are just shortened so they can be easily typed. Not really sure about lyke though.. So Srsly = Seriously And Lyke = Like AbbreviationsNow I'll explain the abbreviations. You should know what abbreviations are, if you don't look it up in the dictionary. The abbreviations are the bolded parts: omg. lyke thats srsly uber awesome!<3 :) PM Me Nao. xD btw, ur such a nub. LOL! D: These words are just abbreviations for faster typing. Omg = Oh My Gosh PM = Private Message(Email message) Btw = By The Way Lol = Laugh Out Loud EmoticonsNow I'll explain the smiles/emoticons. Chatspeak language is just what most people use on the computer. They're the bolded parts: omg. lyke thats srsly uber awesome!<3 :) PM Me Nao. xD btw, ur such a nub. LOL! D: Uber = It's just a word lots of people like to use for some reason. Pretty much means the same this as super duper. (Example of word in a sentence: You're so uber awesome!) Nao = Again it's just one of those words that people like to use. It means Now. (Example of word in a sentence: Give me cookies NAO.) Ur = Means Your. Just a short form. Nub = Now, this word is a little tricky. There's 4 versions; Newbie, Noob, Nub, and Nib. Newbie = Means like a new person in the game who's just starting. Noob = An annoying person. Nub = Most "pros" like to use this word rather than Noob. It doesn't nessasarily mean the same thing as Noob. Nib = "Pros" like to call people this for fun. No hard feelings, they're just joking around. List of Basic ChatspeakNow that pretty much wraps up the guide.
